B3 / Memoirs - CD
BIOGRAPHY
B3 is a trio formed by Théo Brideau (violin, mandolin), Jean-Marie Benoît (guitar, mouth music) and David Boutin (keyboard, accordion). Originally from the Acadian peninsula, Théo Brideau studied music at the Université de Moncton and was also part of several local groups. David Boutin has been musical director of several major events and accompanist of several professional artists, Jean-Marie Benoit, "Pit" of his nickname, is the pillar of the group since the latter is the main arranger and composer of the album. They offer us some great known Acadian melodies, which have been rearranged instrumentally to create refreshing background music. B3 is a formation specializing in background music. Formed in 1998, the trio has since performed in a multitude of activities, including government, business and even private meetings, cocktail parties and conventions. Training has made a name for itself in these specialized activity environments. The group has therefore decided to expand their audience by offering them an album with a new approach to these great classics. The album was entirely designed by the members of B3. Rediscover tunes that have marked the history of Acadian music.
