Barachois / Barachois - CD
BIOGRAPHY
The Barachois group is the ambassador par excellence of Acadian music on Prince Edward Island. For the past few years, this group has traveled the roads of the Atlantic provinces, Quebec and has made several tours in European countries. Appreciated by both French and English speaking audiences, Barachois received the prize for French-speaking album of the year in 1997 from the East Coast Music Awards. These four excellent musicians, all from Arsenault, present 13 exciting songs on this album. The harmony of the voices, the violin, the tapping of the feet, the hoist, the jigging, the guitars, gives you the impression of taking part in an evening in a kitchen, warm by the fire, somewhere outside. Prince Edward Island. You can't help but tap your feet while listening to Barachois.
