Chantal Archambault is an author, composer and performer from Abitibi-Témiscamingue who presents an assortment of pieces with colorful texts on a background of country-folk music. It was in 2008 that she made herself known by launching a self-produced album, Le collage , which charmed her first audience with its great authenticity. Along the way, it also reached Dany Placard with whom she became friends to produce her second album launched at the FME 2010, La romance des Couteaux ; An antagonistic work where the contrasts of images and sounds collide to serve human and sincere stories drawn with a fine line.
