Émilie Landry / Watering the Flowers - CD
Émilie Landry is from Campbellton, in northern New Brunswick. After spending a few years in Quebec, she moved back to her Acadian hometown last year. She shares with open heart her vision of the world, her life stories and her misadventures, but always with a smile, since she judges that it is better to laugh than to cry!
Already in childhood, she proclaimed that the stage was where she felt at home. His appearance in the Accros de la chanson competition in 2010 was a defining moment that inspired him to continue writing in his mother tongue. This young woman carries within her an inflamed passion that makes even the most serious dream.
She enrolled at Campus Notre-Dame de Foy, in Quebec, and obtained her diploma in pop and jazz singing there in 2016. In 2017, it was none other than the French artist Daran who produced his first solo EP entitled Being social ( link ).
After more than sixty shows, she continues to nurture her creativity by participating in creative residencies in Gaspésie and France. In 2019, she embarked on an intensive period of creation with a view to the release of her album Arroser les fleurs .
