Émilie Landry is a singer-songwriter from Campbellton, in northern New Brunswick. Since 2009, she has been seen at events such as the Gala de la chanson de Caraquet, Accros de la chanson, The Festival International de la chanson de Granby and Ma Première place des arts. Wanting to master her art, she left her native Acadie 3 years ago to study music in Quebec. At Campus Notre-Dame de Foy, she obtained a diploma in pop and jazz singing.
Marrying pop, jazz and folk to endearing texts, Émilie transports her audience in her head, where simplicity flirts with audacity. She reveals herself to the public, equipped with her voice that is both soft and powerful. Guitar in hand or seated at her piano, she tells her stories theatrically through song.
