Originally from France, Jøhan Gass started music in 2010 in Sherbrooke, Quebec. After releasing his 1st gypsy-folk album, “Le temps file! in 2014 and toured Quebec, Jøhan retired from the stage to devote himself for almost 2 years to an animated film project from his imagination: Tree of Life.

After this time of internalization and nourished by this project, Jøhan returns in 2018 to the musical scene with a new approach filled with strength, imagination and spirituality. A real cry from the heart!

With "Libres & Sauvages", his new album, Jøhan invites us to live in a free spirit, closer to our deep nature and in harmony with our environment and its magic. The videoclip Libres & Sauvages captures very well this free and powerful spirit, carried by a unique musical signature.

Thanks to a unique electro-rock-tribal sound atmosphere, a powerful voice and lyrical and poetic texts rich in meaning, Jøhan wishes to convey a universal message through the strength of his words and his music, through 8 songs. An immersion in a strong, deep and intimate experience!
