Originally from Sherbrooke and a graduate of the École Nationale de la Chanson de Granby (2015), Julien Thibault ( Coco Méliès , Édwar 7 ) unveils his solo project Jules , with a first album entitled Jules et ses pills .

With his songs with yellow laughs, modern depressions and banal disillusions sometimes folk, sometimes rock, sometimes punk and hint of country (who knows), Jules takes his bass with heart and imperfection, defending a raw approach, traditional and timeless. Unpretentious, unrestrained.

At the helm of the production and musician on most instruments, Jules counts on the support of Marcus Quirion (guitar and vocals), Simon Bilodeau (drums), Francesca Como (vocals), Dany Placard (vocals) and David Méliès ( mixing), "dream team" resulting from old and current collaborations.

The multi-instrumentalist paints ordinary portraits, auscultates his interpersonal relationships, digs into the big questions, always in a vein full of humanity and sensitivity. He puts his ideas and his songs in a small pot that he carries around in his case. So that in a sense, each of them is a little red capsule that helps support the upside of daily decor, mixed with the capsules that are already working on the alchemy of the head.
