Viviane, a prodigal child, seeks to regain her place in the family she abandoned, just as her mother had done. Wounded by the abandonment and absence of loved ones, her father and her younger sister have created a hermetic and troubled universe on which their security rests. Viviane, wanting to find a place there, will see her own balance falter. A tough and touching film, shot in the splendid setting of Île d'Orléans, from a screenplay by Réjean Ducharme.
