This collector's edition DVD features the National Film Board of Canada documentary The Portrait, which follows Toronto artist Phil Richards as he creates Canada's official portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II for her Diamond Jubilee. Directed by Academy Award®-nominated filmmaker Hubert Davis, The Portrait is joined in this special edition by two classic NFB films about Canada's royal family: Royal Journey (1951) and Canada at the Coronation (1953). Celebrating the Queen's Diamond Jubilee – Collector's Edition is created by the National Film Board of Canada in partnership with the Department of Canadian Heritage and Canada Post.
