A perfect reconstruction of the 60s and 70s, with dapper and tangy sets and soundtrack, serves as a framework for an ironic and tasty balance of power between impostor (Leonardo DiCaprio) and policeman (Tom Hanks). The only weak points: Frank's relationship with his parents (Christopher Walken and Nathalie Baye), a tad moralizing, and the disappointing female roles. But by multiplying the winks, in particular to James Bond and Hitchcock, this intelligent and refreshing film remains charming, adopting for our greatest pleasure the form of a game that never takes itself seriously. --Helen Faradji
