The backpacker returned with a ninth album, Le Voyage, which traces his quest for the absolute. His nine songs certainly evoke his personal concerns, but his speech is not devoid of social criticism. If the poetic verve of Paul Piché remains, the musical arrangements have evolved. His old traveling companions – Rick Haworth on guitars, Claude Castonguay on keyboards and composition, and Pierre Duchesne on bass and production – nevertheless followed him on this journey where he sometimes borrows from Latin rhythms (success \" Don't do that\"), sometimes with electronic sounds (\"Bad Calculation\").
