Details: Beyond a love for tractors, wrestling and the Reader's Digest, the Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project is a group of virtuosos coming out of the woods with rhythmic guitars, a double bass as powerful as a John Deere tractor, a banjo rolling at breakneck speed, a possessed violin and lyrics in which the little rebel who lives inside everyone will recognize himself. Formed in China in 2007, the group is made up of guys (and a girl) from Saguenay-Lac St-Jean, an Irishman and an Abitibi guy and Dylan Perron (winner of the 2015 Francouvertes). t after the release of the 1st album Sweet Mama Yeah in 2010 (recorded in China) QRBP began to come and play in Quebec during the summer. Summer 2012, they return to Quebec with a 2nd album, 3000, Boulevard de Mess. The music having circulated a lot on the web, the 2012 tour was the first to be so busy (40 shows) and so popular (several sold-out shows throughout the province). From 2013, the group gradually began to relocate to Quebec, where they now all live there. The new album, Scandals and Good Mood, is the first to be recorded in Quebec.
