Details: From the Studio Billy (Jude Law) is an unofficial leader of a gang, and is reunited with his posse after being released from prison. The group includes a Northern Irish girl, Jo (Sadie Frost), Monkey (Danny Newman) and Be Bop (Fraser James). However, not everyone’s pleased to see Billy return. His father has moved all of his possessions out of the family house, while a rival gang leader, Tommy (Sean Pertwee), sees Billy as a threat to his lucrative racketeering. This threat becomes real when Billy pre-empts a robbery arranged by Tommy and a local gangster, Venning (Sean Bean). With his reputation as public enemy number one in question, Tommy decides to remove Billy from the equation. As well as the warring psychopath, Billy also has to contend with a platonic relationship with Jo, and the close attentions of the local police, with world-weary police chief Conway (Jonathan Pryce) particularly keen to apprehend the one-man crime wave.
