Details: Product Description Gisele, a youth-center social-worker in her fifties, finds out, after her husband's death, that he had been having a secret affair for many years. Moved by Gisele's recent loss, Yannick, a 19 year-old kleptomaniac, attempts to get close to her. He shows his affection by stealing his personal possessions and invading his space. Their romance is met with many obstacles. For Gisele: her children, who mourn the loss of their father; the search for her late husband's mistress, and a jealous colleague. Yannick, on the other hand, is tempted by the reappearance of his ex-lover and old habits die hard… They try, beyond their age difference and the social norms they face, to find one another - to love and to simply be, for a certain time, together.-----Gisèle Cloutier, a woman in her fifties, a social worker in a youth center in a disadvantaged neighborhood of Quebec City, learns when her husband dies that he had a secret relationship with another woman over a long period of time. Informed of Gisèle's mourning, Yannick, a 19-year-old young man, an incorrigible kleptomaniac who, during a suicide attempt for a love affair, had recourse to his professional services at the Youth Center, attempted by stealing various personal objects from him. and by invading her intimate places to get closer to her in order to show her his affection. Their encounter is strewn with obstacles. For Gisèle, the post-mortem presence of the deceased maintained by her children; the betrayal of her sister who happens to be her husband's hidden mistress; the threats of dismissal for ethical misconduct by one of his jealous colleagues, Yannick, for his part, sees his ex-lover come back to tempt him. These two beings wounded by love try beyond their respective ages and beyond social conventions to find each other, to love each other and to be, for a time, together. About the Author null
