Produced by the BBC and the Discovery Channel, in collaboration with Radio-Canada, Planète Terre describes the planet using never-before-seen images. It is the result of five years of work which, thanks to a budget of some US$22 million, has taken its film crews and HD cameras to the four corners of the world, from the highest mountains to the bottom of the oceans in passing through deserts and Antarctica, filming known and unknown animals, struggles for life and threatened ecosystems. 2000 days of filming, 40 cameramen, 200 locations around the world.
