A personal adventure if ever there was one, the album is like a sort of underwater reflection where the rumors of the city only reach us in a troubled and distant way. If Moffat astonishes and seduces by the quality of her music, her instrumentations and her singing ("Seul dans son classe", "Si"), she disappoints by the quality of her writing. His texts, somewhat awkward, often lack fluidity and poetry. But this is not enough to tarnish listening to Aquanaute, a dense and daring work, just waiting to be tamed. -- Nicolas Houle
