Details: The fall of 2016 will finally mark the return of With no helmet after a long silence. Four years after the release of Astronomie, the group is back with Special Effects, their 4th album. Astronomie was an album unanimously acclaimed by critics and peers at the ADISQ 2012: Félix Album of the Year – Critics' Choice, Songwriter of the Year and Music Video of the Year. At GAMIQ 2012, they won Folk Album of the Year, Songwriter of the Year and Music Video of the Year. In 10 years of career, the sales of the group total more than 25,000 copies. Special effects promises all the same to be the most successful and the most luminous of the formation. A Quebec tour will begin in September and will continue until the end of 2017. The quartet made up of Stéphane Lafleur (also director of the films Continental, A film without gun, In known grounds and Tu dors Nicole), Joël Vaudreuil, Nicolas Moussette and Mathieu Charbonneau reconnects here with a few loyal collaborators, such as Simon Trottier (Timber Timbre) on electric guitar, Maxime Veilleux (Cheval fou, Le Trouble) on congas and Benoit Paradis (Benoit Paradis Trio and Bernard Adamus) on trombone.
