No story of chicks or two-ball satanism on this second album, but a denunciation of the injustice and violence of the system which is based on a thrash that could not be more classic, but effective as a spurt of Uzi. Barely a sample of the famous Psychosis soundtrack on the semi-ballad "Last Breath" or a cover of "Hey Joe" faithful to Hendrix do they vary the leaden atmosphere a little, if not to relax it. Born Dead's strongest moment, however, is none other than the haunting title track, which deserves a place in the 90s metal pantheon. --Thierry Chatain
