It was when he came across an article by Marie Allard that Sherbrooke singer-songwriter Frank Custeau discovered himself to be part of the Xéniaux, this hybrid generation neither quite X nor completely Y. The concept gave a title to the already started writing of the theme " Xénial Blues " which will be published on January 29, 2021.

" Xénial Blues " is the disappointment of a naive teenager of almost 40 who calmly accepts that he will not be a rock star.

For the conception of the album, Frank surrounded himself with xenial friends, like him nostalgic of an era on tapes and without autotune. It is only natural that accomplices Alex Crow (Diane Dufresne, Vulgaires Machins, Elisapie, Aut' Chose) and Luc Jr. Bélisle (Greenwood, 2Frères) decide to steal sound textures from their idols, from the sixties to the ninety. The powerful drums of Bélisle and the old school saxophones of Philippe Poirier (Le Cirque du Soleil) provide groovy colors to this solid realization of Alex Crow , a crisis of the mid-thirties spicy folk rock.
