If you love music, take a few minutes of your time and read the following carefully. It all started the day when Mr. Sylvain Lalonde, the inventor of the "Musical Universal Key", interfaced the diatonic scale and the chromatic scale by using numbers to represent each degree (see Fig.1 ). Looking at the numbers that corresponded to the intervals that constitute a perfect major chord, he saw appear before his eyes, a legendary mathematical sequence, the Fibonacci sequence ( the golden ratio - PHI ). It was from that moment that Mr. Lalonde finally began to really understand.
