Details: In the suburbs of Glasgow, barber Barney Thomson finds his monotonous life taking an unexpected turn following a series of unfortunate events. Indeed, following a dispute, the man mortally wounds a colleague with a pair of scissors. Panicked, he hides the body in the trunk of his car, not without having attracted attention by his suspicious behavior. When he does not know what to do with this cumbersome passenger, he obtains the unexpected help of his mother who takes care of getting rid of the corpse by cutting it into pieces. Meanwhile, the police are actively searching for a serial killer, who, coincidentally, dismembers his victims.
