A ship is found adrift with its crew massacred on the shores of Gaspésie… There is consternation! In the aftermath, an ambitious journalist, helped by a rather shy and sedentary young museologist-archivist, discovers that a collector of maritime objects with dubious designs may be linked to this terrible story. The quest then begins to find out who this mysterious diver is who decimates everything in his path to achieve his ends and recover a precious document looted from the wreck of the "Princess of the North", where he died...
