Details: From the Studio When secretary Liza Raines (Lucy Jenner) becomes deaf after a shooting in a robbery, is evicted and later she is found by the social assistant Grant Kane living in her car. Grant brings Liza to a Transition Shelter to be rehabilitated, and she accepts to be submitted to an experimental treatment never tested in humans in the Center for Hearing Research. The leader of the research Dr. Gene Kramer is pressed by the CIA agent Aiden Porter that is funding his experiment to test his vaccine of restoration of cells in fifteen patients, and he advises that the rats subjected to the experiment became psychotic. The patients also become psychotic and suicidal, with the exception of Liza, the patient 14. She achieves the ability of hearing frequencies emitted by the brain and read minds as a side effect. Porter recruits Liza to work in CIA disclosing the innermost thoughts of the suspects, but later Liza finds his real hidden intentions. / Liza Raines (Lucy Jenner), a secretary evicted from her home, deafened after witnessing a shooting during a robbery, is discovered alive in her car by Grant Kane, a social worker. The latter then takes her to a transitional shelter so that she can be rehabilitated and there, she agrees to submit to an experimental treatment at the Hearing Research Center which has never been tested on humans. The CIA is funding Dr. Gene Kramer's research. When the latter informs the agent Aiden Porter, who supervises the research protocol that his tests of the vaccine of regeneration of the cells on laboratory rats made them psychotic, Porter the order all the same to continue. All the patients subjected to the new experimental treatment sink into psychosis and experience suicidal impulses, except Liza, patient number 14. In her case, the side effects of the treatment are very different: she develops the ability to hear the frequencies emitted by the brain and can therefore read minds. Porter hires Liza for the CIA so she can reveal the deepest thoughts of suspects during interrogations, but it doesn't take long for the latter to understand the agent's secret intentions.
