He's the creator and president of the most successful internet dating service – Perfectforme.com; yet Richie is unable to find love. He and a group of friends decide to form a fake casting agency as a means to meet his soul mate. Eventually, the women start to catch on, and the only way the guys can stay out of trouble is to actually make a film – or at least create a convincing illusion that they are doing so. A romantic comedy about the beauty of fate, life and love – brought to you in the style you've come to expect from National Lampoon! / The Casting Agency: Single and well-off, Richie Ray (Thomas Ian Nicholas) seems at first glance to have everything it takes to be happy in life. He even created Perfectforme.com, a popular dating website of which he is the president. Nevertheless, Richie fails to find love. History of taking the bull by the horns, so he decides with friends to start a fake casting agency in the hope of maybe finally meeting the one who will be his soul sure. The problem is that at the end for a moment the candidates end up sniffing out the con. So to save face, Richie and his friends have no choice but to make a film - or at the very least create the illusion that their projects are serious. The Casting Agency is a romantic comedy about the charms of fate, life and love presented in National Lampoon's signature style.
