Already responsible for the excellent Toy Story , A Bug's Life And Monsters, Inc. , the Pixar animation studios are doing it again with Finding Nemo , an aquatic fable expertly brought to life by Andrew Stanton.

After the death of his companion, Marlin the clownfish has a hard time letting their offspring Nemo achieve independence. Convinced by the pleas of the little one, he nevertheless lets him go to school. But Nemo is quickly captured by a diver and lands in a dentist's aquarium. While he foments escape plans with his comrades under glass, Marlin, he will travel the seabed to find his son, in the company of Dory, a blue fish lady, suffering from instantaneous amnesia.

Proving once again their technical mastery, the Pixar studios offer with Finding Nemo a tale in the form of a quest with a classic structure but whose effectiveness is well established. And even if it lacks the pretty irony that characterized Monsters, Inc. , the film is still fairly high quality entertainment, as funny (thanks to Dory or the greedy seagulls, in particular) as it is moving. In addition, the double DVD contains all kinds of bonus features, such as the animated short Bibelot , charade games, a making-of and a documentary by Jean-Michel Cousteau, which will be enough to completely succeed in this dive into the ocean.
