Claude Cormier is an artist from the Magdalen Islands who currently lives in Rimouski, Qc. of "Great big sea" with an Irish folk sound. After three years of acoustic tours across the country, Claude Cormier returns to his roots and presents his most recent album: Garde ton accent.
It is an album with Irish folk sound with the unique language of that of the Islands. Claude Cormier has surrounded himself with the musicians of the Vishten group who are known for their frenzied sound of violin, banjo, accordion, percussion and guitars which gives this warm and dynamic atmosphere of the Acadians of the Islands. A festive rendezvous with Irish folk flavours, with the colorful poetry and unique language of the Magdalen Islands.
