Details: Amazon.ca Frustrated by the clinical atmosphere of the studios, the most nomadic of the Helvetians (fault of his gypsy origins?) solves the problem by installing tape recorders and musicians in the venerable casino of a mountain resort, out of season. In addition to the title of his fifth album, he draws from it a wooded and intimate atmosphere, which perfectly suits his polyglot songs (French, English, German). For the second time, he benefits from the collaboration of the novelist Philippe Djian ("37°2 le matin"), who writes three texts for him, including those of "Déjeuner en paix" and "Pas d'ami (comme toi)", deserved hits. Without fear of astonishing comparisons, he frames a moving cover of "I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" by Hank Williams, shooting star of 1950s country, with "Jesus may my joy remain" by Jean-Sébastien Bach. A complete success, where serenity competes with a discreet melancholy. --Thierry Chatain Product Description The Original Series. Reissue Of The Original Album. Digipack.
