These collaborations had a determining effect on the sound and the musical approach of the singer: here she displays a restraint that we hardly knew her, sings texts devoid of depth, opts for conventional arrangements and even tries to a Mylène Farmer style pop. In short, it is moving away from its pop rock roots to favor French variety where the diktat of the radio format prevails over the quality of the content.
