Details: Bootleg Blues was born from a performance on November 8, 1997 at the Vieux-Clocher in Sherbrooke. It was almost at the end of the Black & Blues tour (Marjo sings the Blues). This time around, 12 blues songs ranging from Bessie Smith to Charlie Musselwhite, from Ronnie Earl to Billie Holiday, from Chuck Berry to LeRoy Carr and Mitch Woods. Jean Millaire, blues guitarist and companion of the singer, was able to produce this 1st English-language "live" album by the incredible and talented Marjo with technical assistance from Michel Therrien.
