Details: The Mononc' Serge 2015 album is more than just a record… it's the big comeback to topical songs for the thunderous tonton!In the fall of 2014, the ineffable Mononc' Serge is invited to a times a week to sing one of his tunes on the show "This show… with Mike Ward" on Musique Plus. For the occasion, he composes pieces on the news, an exercise to which he had not lent himself on a regular basis since the end of the 90s. After the cancellation of the show at the end of 2014, our troublemaker continues the exercise by now presenting his songs in the form of video capsules on the internet, in particular on the Voir website. The Mononc' Serge 2015 album includes 12 pieces presented in the frameworks described above, plus an unreleased title. These pieces, full of rudeness, humor and verve, are topped with evocative titles: Coupe Couillard, PCP and PKP, the Islamic State, Stephen Harper, Corrompu and Charlie Hebdo. For this twelfth disc, Mononc' Serge is surrounded by former collaborators and newcomers. A few names? Dominique Lanoie (guitars), Ugo Di Vito (drums), Pépé (who sings two of the tracks in duet with the ex-Colocs) and Peter Paul (guitars).
