It's been almost 5 years and a few hundred concerts that Saratoga has been watching the fire of intimate music and stripping the song of its artifices. From major stages to intimate concerts, Chantal Archambault and Michel-Olivier Gasse quickly won the hearts of audiences across the province.

Their first feature film Fleur was released in 2016 and, to critical acclaim, earned them two nominations at ADISQ 2017: "Album of the Year - Folk" and "Revelation of the Year". Since it is on stage that the sensitive universe of Saratoga unfolds in all its generosity, the couple then set off on a tour of more than one hundred and fifty dates in Quebec and Europe. After a brief hiatus in 2018, the duo returns with a graceful and benevolent second album, This is a Beloved Species .
