François Pérusse / Volume 5 - The Pursuit - CD
SKU: M2-XSVS-5NNC
François Pérusse had however sworn that it was over, that the fourth volume of L'Album du peuple would indeed be the last. But he comes back to us in La Poursuite, the fifth (and last?) title in the series.
This time, he didn't content himself with grouping his humorous capsules into different themes, he invented a story. We are thus witnessing the setbacks of François Pérusse himself, victim of a lawsuit, for having broken his contract with his record company. Between episodes of this tragicomic legal saga, he offers songs that are more fluid and less overloaded than those he delivered on previous albums (“Vive l'amour” and “Snack-bar chez Raymond”), parodies of the media and , of course, it resurrects its famous characters. We could have feared repetitions on the part of the comedian. On the contrary, we are surprised by its incredible capacity to renew itself.
