Van Carton is a figurehead adopted by Guillaume Monette , known as a songwriter ( 3 Guys Su'l Sofa ) and filmmaker (Moulures, 2014).

His first EP La saison consists of slow, floating, pleasantly repetitive music. We insist on rhythmic cells that take themselves for mantras; the chord progressions are deliberately limited, the timbres meticulously chosen.
