Details: Amazon.ca Actors who start singing are often received with a touch of suspicion by the public. Caroline Néron, an actress with a hoarse timbre discovered in the Diva and Tribu.com TV series, was able to take up this challenge with ease. Although she doesn't have the most spectacular voice, she doesn't lack poise or charm. She offers a very convincing pop rock, well surrounded by her companion Pascal Dufour, guitarist of the Respectables, director Gordie Johnson, leader of the Toronto band Big Sugar, and an impressive team of songwriters, including Roger Tabra, Éric Lapointe and Patrick Huard. A few surprises spice up listening to this eponymous debut album, including a marvelous reggae-flavored track ("On en pleure"), a languorous soul song ("Ma Plus Belle Error") and an amusing encounter with the rocker Papillon ("C It's not the first time"), which recalls the Gainsbourg-Birkin duos. Even the ballads, like the very pretty "Stay but go away", will bring tears to the most sensitive. Refreshing and sunny, Caroline Néron's debut album is sure to brighten up beautiful summer days... --Frédéric Boudreault Product Description Caroline Néron
