Details: Amazon.ca 1989 is a shock! Roy Orbison, the legend of Sun Records, is leaving us only a few weeks after celebrating his comeback with a magnificent album. Released from the attic of idols by the Traveling Wilburys (alongside other prodigies such as Tom Petty, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Jeff Lynne, leader of the mythical Electric Light Orchestra), Orbison takes advantage of the recording of Mystery Girl to find them and other traveling companions. His son even writes several texts. When Roy sings, from the first word it is ecstasy. Her angelic tenor voice bewitches us. However, we note with sadness that this album could have been the sign of a prodigious rebirth. It's true that we could remake the world with "ifs", but it is undeniable that songs like "You Got It" are of the same stamp as "Pretty Woman". Count ourselves lucky that Roy Orbison had the time to record this latest gem. --Tom Lanham Product description Roy Orbison
