Details: A year has passed since the Great Dragon was released. Arthur finds Morgana, who had since disappeared. Turns out, she's spent the past year with her half-sister, Morgause, who harbored her hatred for Camelot and the Pendragons. Merlin quickly discovers the secret, but there is nothing he can do. He must content himself with assisting Arthur. This one is forced to face Cenred, a fallen king whom Morgause seduced and convinced to fight Camelot. Merlin therefore has a lot to do, especially because of the presence of Morgane between the walls of the castle. Wanting to protect his secret and maintain order at court, the young man, twice and despite the Great Dragon's advice, is forced to save Morgause's life. The latter also discovers that Uther Pendragon is hiding another secret: Morgane is his daughter. From then on, she intends to take advantage of this filial link to install her sister on the throne. To achieve this, she uses the Cup of Life. She then raises an immortal army and seizes power with her sister, not without having betrayed Cenred. Uther is deposed and taken prisoner. Arthur, Merlin and Gaïus hide and gather around them four loyal fighters whom Arthur proclaims knights of Camelot. Together, they will lead the assault against the forces of Morgause.
