Almost 3 years after the release of their latest album Scandales et Bon Humeur , the Quebec Redneck Bluegrass Project (QRBP) is back in force with its brand new album Royale Réguine !

Fans who enjoyed the live performances of the songs Pantera Artic Cat Triple 800 , La meute , T'as tu tu? , Vieux Gagné , Royal Roman Casino and Queue vache queue will be delighted to find these pieces and much more on this generous new work which offers more than an hour of music. This album, which contains 13 original titles, once again presents songs that are both intelligent and ramshackle, characterized by the insanely flowing lyrics of JP "le Pad" Tremblay who talks to us about subjects that are very familiar to him: abuse, life at 100,000 an hour, incredible adventures around the world, but also of his life in a Saguenay village where nature and machines are queens.

Although folk and bluegrass remain important musical colors of the album, the QRBP still makes us borrow avenues with various influences drawing as much on the gypsy with the piece West Bengal , as on the funk with J'chie des arcs -en-ciel , and even wink at their Chinese origins with the song Pengyoumen wansui - 朋友们万岁 which is directly inspired by the Uyghur flavor of northwest China.

The unavoidable punk energy is also present on this album which reminds us that the QRBP, an independent group, always remains in touch with its roots. The formation that is found on this album is the same that we found on stage this summer in the Réguine Tour. The QRBP is now made up of four musicians from Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean , Jean-Philippe Tremblay , François Gaudreault , Nicolas Laflamme and Madeleine Bouchard .
