Details: From the Studio A modest insurance agent, Pablo Sterni leads an ordinary existence with his wife, Brigitte, and their sons. To make ends meet, Pablo defrauds Mr Cannon by making him believe that his vintage car - which never drives - is insured, while he pockets the bonuses... When the car is stolen and found half-destroyed, the damage amount to more than 500,000 francs. For Pablo, you have to find the money or go to jail. His cousin Leon, whom he hasn't seen since childhood, just inherited over a million, but he's been stuck on acid for thirty years and lives in the cult of Janis Joplin and John Lennon, whom he believes he saw them at a concert and who promised to return. Cornered, Pablo decides to try everything for everything. If he can convince Leon that Janis and John have come back for him, he will surely get his hands on the money. To embody the two idols, Pablo can only count on his wife and an unemployed nerdy actor, Walter Kingkate. Methodically, he organizes the metamorphoses and refines his plan. Brigitte and Walter are quick to get caught up in the game. Far from solving the problem, the delusional plot quickly spirals out of control and leads the trio much further than they had imagined...
