Details: Thomas (Jonathan Zaccaï), a reserved man, is on his way back after a three-month stay in Quebec. Mary Ann (Evelyne Brochu) feels caught up in the monotony of her life. She has two children and an absent husband (after outbreaks of domestic violence). On the road, near an Aboriginal community, Thomas discovers the body of a 13-year-old Indian, knocked down by a driver who fled. Thomas undertakes to find the culprit. But the investigation he leads will arouse several suspicions and lead Thomas and Mary Ann to confront their own painful pasts. Thomas (Jonathan Zaccaï), a reserved man, has spent a few months in Quebec. Mary Ann (Evelyne Brochu) is a mother stuck in the monotony of her life after being abandoned by her husband following a series of violent domestic disputes. As Thomas embarks on his journey to the north of Canada, their lives become intertwined following the hit and run of a local Amerindian teenage boy. He then delays his return to Switzerland to seek justice. Their search will force each other to confront their own painful memories and ultimately seek forgiveness.
