Details: In addition to being dumped by his girlfriend on his 29th birthday, Sylvain finds out during his birthday dinner that his father Jean-Pierre is expecting a baby with Evelyn, his new, young girlfriend. For Sylvain's sister Marion, who's been trying unsuccessfully to get pregnant for the past 10 years, the news comes as a shock. Especially since she still hasn't forgiven their father for leaving their mother 20 years ago. Meanwhile, Evelyn, whose parents strongly disapprove of her relationship with a man their age, starts to wonder if she isn't about to make a mistake.-----20 years ago, Jean-Pierre left home, leaving Louise raising the children alone; Marion and Sylvain were 10 and 8 years old at the time. For years, he had been an absent father, but following a reconciliation, he believed that, with the help of time, his faults had been forgotten. At the birthday dinner for Sylvain's 29th birthday, when he announces to his ex-wife and his children that he has met a 30-year-old young woman and that they are expecting a baby, he discovers that nothing is forgotten and even less forgiven. Louise, faced with the emptiness of her own existence, sees this as a great injustice. Sylvain understands that he will find himself alone to mourn a failed father-son relationship and Marion, who has been trying unsuccessfully to have a child for two years, feels scorned by this unexpected pregnancy. Jean-Pierre's happiness is an affront to the pain that inhabits them and for which they attribute responsibility to him. But it is this same happiness that falters when Jean-Pierre's young companion, Évelyne, wonders if she is really sure she wants to start a family with an older man.
