Shot in black and white across four states, Nebraska tells the stories of family life in the heartland of America. ------- Woody Grant is a confused old man, a former alcoholic, and he is convinced that he has just won $1 million, despite what his sons David and Ross say, who tell him that he won nothing. Starting in Billings, Montana, he is determined to travel to Lincoln, Nebraska, to claim his prize. To calm him down, David agrees to go in the car with him. Halfway through, they stop in Woody's hometown at an elderly aunt's, where his new status as a millionaire makes him a local star. The whole family reunites, while Woody is just waiting to go back to Lincoln to get his million.
