A life of crime seemed inevitable for Jecko. Métis Quebecois of Haitian origin, he witnesses at the age of eight the murder of his mother committed by his father, a tragic event that will mark him forever. Tossed from one foster home to another, Jecko finally finds the sense of belonging he's been longing for when he begins hanging out with young hoodlums living in the Saint-Michel neighborhood. Years later, crime and violence have taken Jecko to the height of an empire. In this world where wealth and respect are obtained by means of arms, he is like a fish in water. Several events will nevertheless make him reconsider this path he thought he was paving for himself. But do not leave Saint-Michel who wants.
