Details: Amazon.ca Scornful of established morals, Mononc Serge wields the editorial song like no one else. A worthy heir to Plume Latraverse in terms of verve and stentorian voice, the singer-songwriter, whose real name is Serge Robert, offers his trivial rhymes and energetic music to listeners who aren't faint of heart. His 13 trash tunes are a collection of drinking songs, acerbic critiques of the music industry, and condemnations of political and police forces. The former member of the late band Les Colocs joyfully attacks on all fronts, creating quite a stir with his sweeping denunciations ("Le Caniche", "Mario"). Talented musicians accompany him, such as guitarist Olivier Langevin and drummer François Lalonde. Also appearing alongside him are the inspired violin of Mara Tremblay and the effective guitar of Yves Desrosiers. Since current events are his primary source of inspiration, his prose should be consumed quickly. --Diane Jean Product Description Mononc Serge
