The legendary Acadian band 1755 is marking 35 years of their career with the release of a box set bringing together the group's three studio albums, entirely remastered: 1755, Vivre à la Baie, and Synergie. The public will have the opportunity to reminisce while listening to tracks that quickly became classics of the Acadian repertoire: C.B. Buddie, Rue Dufferin, Maudite guerre, U.I.C., Boire ma bouteille, Vivre à la Baie, and more.

Blending folk, country, and rock with lyrics from traditional songs, band members, or poet Gérald Leblanc, 1755 is the iconic figure of Acadian music for several generations in Acadia. It was 1755 that truly launched the Acadian musical movement on an international scale. More than just a band, they carried all of Acadia in their travel bags, and their influence can still be heard in the Acadian artists who followed. Even today, 1755 gets crowds on their feet.
