Details: Maryanne Coté is a self-taught singer-songwriter with an enchanting voice and a unique personality. Emerging from the shadows over the past year, she has captured the public's attention and quickly gained popularity by sharing videos of herself on social media, alone with her guitar and her inspirations. Her vocal talent, melodic sense, and the sincerity of her lyrics did the rest, and much to her surprise, a considerable buzz began to form around her. The public discovered her stripped of artifice and fell in love with this unique musician with an angelic voice. On July 22, 2015, a year and a half after posting her first amateur video, Maryanne uploaded a video to her Facebook page that would literally skyrocket her popularity. With over 10,000 shares and more than a hundred thousand views, her fan base grew exponentially, creating an increasingly steady demand. This popularity explains, among other things, how she was able to gather more than 25,000 subscribers on the web. As of today, her videos have been shared 13,500 times, garnering 60,000 "Likes"!
