Covering each of the albums Octobre recorded—with the exception of L’Autoroute des rêves, though some tracks captured live are included—the anthology takes the pulse of the band’s 10 years of activity, from 1972 to 1982. It is a pleasure to reconnect with classics like "Maudite Machine," "Dans ma ville," and "Le Chant du souterrain," as well as the ambitious "Clandestins" and "Le vent se lève," in which Octobre flirted with symphonic rock.
