The album starts off with a cover of Donny Hathaway's classic, "The Ghetto". While New York dance music maestros Masters At Work ensure the track has an up-to-date feel, it's Benson's voice, smoother and more refined than the most luxurious Italian Latté that instantly captures, charms and seduces the ear. It's a fitting start, even though most of the remaining tracks are instrumental. The creamy tones of Benson's guitar weave their easy way through bright tunes, sophisticated funk and fizzy arrangements (mostly using a modern accoustic quartet) penned by the likes of Stevie Wonder, J oe Sample, Marc Antoine and, of course, Benson himself.
