After splitting with them, he developed his own project, Trby Trio (which in fact, is Rainer Trby with Christian Prommer & Roland Appel from the group, Fauna Flash). Their styles fit somewhere between Jazz, Trip-Hop, House, and Downbeat. Here he gets more into the realm of the 4/4, deep with jazz influenced undertones while maintaining soulful integrity based in his underground roots.
