Details: Agathe Cléry is a true 21st-century working girl. A brilliant marketing director for a line of cosmetics for "light skin," she is nonetheless hardly appreciated by her colleagues, who find her harsh and arrogant, and know her to be a racist. The day she is diagnosed with Addison's disease, an extremely rare condition that will cause her skin to darken, Agathe refuses to believe in such a curse. Yet, one fine morning, she finds herself as black as all those she had despised until then. Thus begins a long journey of initiation for Agathe, during which she will endure many betrayals and lose everything that was most dear to her, but all these humiliations will gradually transform the – harsh, arrogant, and racist – person she was, and open the doors to a new life...
