The first CD includes the original studio album, along with four bonus tracks, while the second disc features a selection of demos, remixes, BBC sessions and unheard material. Also included are new sleeve notes from Jimmy Somerville, Mike Thorne and Paul Flynn. The Age of Consent is the debut album by synthpop trio Bronski Beat (Steve Bronski, Larry Steinbachek and Jimmy Somerville), released on London Records on October 15, 1984. This was the only album released by the band to feature Somerville, who departed the band in 1985.
